Senecio Mountain Fire
The Senecio Mountain Fire is a survivor. The succulent grows in the most challenging regions on earth: from the Himalayan mountains to the dry high plains of Africa and Mexico. Look after it correctly and you will be rewarded with small orange blossoms that make a beautiful display of colours together with the elongated grey-blue leaves.
Light – During the spring and summer, be sure to provide a brightly lit spot away from any direct light. Once the autumn kicks in, be sure to include an hour or two of direct light per day to get it through the dormancy period, lasting until the following spring.
Water – Under-watering is always better than over-doing it, so allow the top half of the soil to dry in between waters.
