Alocasia Cucullata, or ‘Elephant Ear’ has beautiful, glossy heart-shaped leaves.
It’s also known as Buddha’s Ear as it’s often kept at Buddhist temples in Thailand and Laos and believed to bring good luck!
Light – They appreciate bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as this can burn the leaves.
Water – Try to maintain an evenly moist but not soggy potting mix during the growing season, watering when the top two inches feel dry to the touch. Reduce watering significantly in winter.
